For QBCC-licensed pool builders
Project requests from Queensland homeowners looking for a pool builder
Homeowners looking for a new pool, a renovation or an upgrade can send you a request from your listing, with a short description of the project, their suburb and rough timing.
The demo is your own private copy with made-up example data. No sign-up, and it's deleted automatically after about a day.
There is no charge to claim a listing, and quote requests are no charge for the first year.
What you get
A listing, an inbox for project requests, verified reviews and invoices, in one app.
A listing already built for you
Holders of QBCC's swimming pool construction, installation and maintenance licence on QBCC's public register (an extract from October 2026) have a listing built from it. Licences the register shows as suspended or cancelled are not listed, and status should always be checked on QBCC's public search. Claim yours to add your business name, phone, website, services and service area.
Project requests from homeowners
Each request says whether it is a new pool, a renovation or an upgrade, with the homeowner's description, suburb, rough timing and contact details. It goes only to you, with an email alert that has no customer details.
Local pages that homeowners find
Your listing appears on suburb and council pages near you and on your own profile, with your licence details and a link to check them on QBCC.
Verified reviews
Homeowners whose request you marked as booked or done can leave a review, and you can reply publicly.
Quotes and invoices
Connect your own Xero file and create quotes and invoices from PoolPreCert. Your accounting software numbers them, applies GST and takes payment. QuickBooks is coming soon; Xero works now.
Listing stats
See profile views, phone taps, website clicks and requests over the last 30 days.
A picture of the idea, from the homeowner
Homeowners can picture a pool in their own yard using their own AI assistant, then choose to send that picture with a request. It is only ever sent if they choose to, and you see it labelled as a homeowner-supplied AI illustration.

AI-generated example. Not a real property, design or quote, and not a barrier that meets Queensland pool fencing standards. A licensed inspector decides whether a pool meets the standard.
These examples were made with AI by PoolPreCert and are not real properties or work by any business. A homeowner's picture is an illustration to start a conversation, not a design or quote.

More to run your building business
Keep track of customers and how your listing is doing.
Customer address book
Save a homeowner from a request as a customer, search by name, phone or suburb, and keep notes and a timeline of requests, quotes and invoices.
Dashboard you can explore
Choose a date range, compare with the previous period and tap a tile to see the requests behind it.
Comfortable to use
Dark mode, a notification centre and a change history with undo.
Faster follow-up, easy to share
Less typing between a request and a booked job.
Today screen
Open the app to your next job, call-backs, quotes waiting and expiries. Next-best-action cards suggest what to do next, a two-tap add and quick note are on every screen, and lists have swipe actions.
Customer link
Send a customer a private link to a page with their bookings, quotes, invoices and recorded certificate dates. No sign-in is needed, the link expires, and you can switch it off at any time.
Reports and exports
Pick a date range and look at quotes and invoices, jobs, completed inspections or certificate expiries, then download a CSV or PDF. Share the quotes and invoices report with your accountant by a private link, or take everything with you in one ZIP.
Shared request inbox
Say who is looking after each request and leave a team note only your team can see. A plain table shows what each role can do.
Jobs, done properly
From the first request to the final invoice.
Job templates and checklists
Start a job from a template for its type, with a tick-list for the person on site. Starter templates are one tap away. They are prompt lists, not the QBCC inspection record.
Status colours and waiting-on tags
The schedule colours jobs by stage, from to schedule to done, and a waiting-on tag shows when a job is held up by the customer, parts, quote approval, access or payment.
Site notes and photos before you arrive
Keep gate quirks, access notes and pinned site photos with the property, and see them on the job and in the schedule before you get there.
One-tap call, text and directions
Call, Text and Directions sit beside each phone number and address on customers, jobs and the schedule. In your request inbox the Call button comes first and Text and the other actions sit under More. Text opens your own messaging app.
Before and after photos with marks
Show before and after photos side by side and mark them with circles, arrows and text.
Job costing
Record hours, materials and other costs against a job and see profit and margin, with GST taken out.
Optional follow-ups
Switch on one email reminder for a quote with no answer and one for an unpaid invoice. They are off until you turn them on, and each goes once.
Teams and bookings
Keep the crew and the customers in step.
Team scheduling
Give jobs to team members, see each person's schedule and Today list, set each person's hours and days off, and get a warning with a one-tap fix when two jobs clash once travel time is allowed.
Repeating jobs and planned dates
Book the same visit again on a pattern, such as a fortnightly service. Choose how often (every week, every 2 weeks, every month, every year or every number of days) and when it ends. Dates not booked yet show as Planned, and you can change one visit or every one after it. A repeat emails the customer only if you tick the box for that repeat, and planned dates show in your calendar link as tentative events.
Best order for the day
Put the day's jobs in a sensible order by suburb, then open the route in your phone's maps app. The order only changes when you press the button, and a kilometre saving is shown only when the new order is shorter.
Customer booking page
Switch on a booking page and customers pick an open time. It arrives as a request you approve, move or decline, and it is never confirmed automatically unless you choose that.
Site photos shown before you arrive
Pin photos to a property so they show on later jobs there, before you arrive.
Your own link, QR code and button
Put PoolPreCert's self-check on your own website, email signature or Facebook page.
Businesses whose plan or trial includes requests get a personal link, a QR code and a printable poster, plus a simple button to put on their own website, email signature or Facebook page. It is included in the plan with no extra charge.
Someone who uses it does their own self-check, which is not an inspection, and can choose to send the result to your business. You see counts of how many times it was opened and how many requests came in, not who looked.
Only a licensed pool safety inspector decides whether a pool meets the standard. If someone sends you a result, you can offer to talk about the work, and you give no verdict on the pool.
How it works
Claim your listing
Search for your QBCC licence number or business name, sign in with a pool builder business account and add your details. We check your licence on QBCC's search, usually within 2 business days.
Turn on requests
Tick the services you offer, set your service area and switch on quote requests. You can pause them at any time.
Quote and get reviewed
Contact the homeowner, quote the project, and mark the request as booked or done so they can leave a review.
Homeowners can ask you to contact them, even before you join. Any homeowner with an account can ask a listed pool builder to contact them. Those requests wait for up to 60 days. Before you have claimed your listing you see only how many have asked, and nothing is sent to you or shared with you. Once you have claimed your listing, the waiting requests appear in your inbox with the homeowner's name, contact details and suburb, and you contact them directly. We do not promise that homeowners will keep asking.
Quote requests are no charge for the first year. After that they may become part of a PoolPreCert membership; we will tell you well before anything changes. Licences come from QBCC's licensed contractors register. PoolPreCert is not affiliated with QBCC. See the pool builder directory. Are you a building certifier? See how to be listed.
Common questions
What does it cost to claim a listing?
There is no charge to claim a listing. Do I pay for requests?
Requests are no charge for the first year. After that they may become part of a PoolPreCert membership. We will tell you well before anything changes. There are no commissions or per-job fees.
What is in a request?
The homeowner's name, contact details and suburb, what they want (a new pool, a renovation or an upgrade), their rough timing and a short description. It goes only to you. A homeowner can also choose to attach an AI illustration they made of the pool they have in mind. It is labelled as a homeowner-supplied illustration, and it is not a design, quote or measurement.
Can the homeowner take it back?
Yes. If a homeowner withdraws a request, you lose access to it straight away.
Who can review me?
Only homeowners whose request you marked as booked or done through PoolPreCert can leave a review, and you can reply publicly.
Can I put the self-check on my own website?
Businesses whose plan or trial includes requests get a personal link, a QR code and a printable poster, plus a simple button to put on their own website, email signature or Facebook page.
