Be listed as a building certifier for new pools

People building a pool, and the builders who work with them, look for who signs off a new pool. Register and a person at PoolPreCert checks your licence number on QBCC's public search before your listing is shown.

There is no charge, and you do not need an account. Sending the form does not list you until we have checked.

What a listing is

A short, plain listing. You decide what shows.

  • Checked by a person

We open QBCC's public search by hand and check the licence number you entered. Nothing is copied from QBCC or checked by a script.

  • You choose what shows

Your business name, licence number and where you work show. Your phone, website and email show only if you tick them.

  • No ranking, reviews or fees

Listings are in alphabetical order. There are no reviews, ratings, prices or paid places, and no charge to be listed.

  • No unprompted email

We email you about your registration only. Nobody at PoolPreCert contacts certifiers to ask them to register.

  • Hide or delete any time

Use the private link in your first email to change what you publish, hide your listing or delete your registration.

  • A listing, not an endorsement

The page says what you entered and when we checked it, and sends readers to QBCC's own search. It does not say we recommend you.

How it works

  1. Register

Enter your business name, QBCC licence number, where you work and how you want to be contacted. You do not need an account.

  2. We check on QBCC's search

A person looks up your licence number on QBCC's public search and ticks that they checked it. We email you when it is done.

  3. You are listed, or we tell you why not

A listing shows the licence number as you entered it with the date we checked it. If we can't list you, we say why.

See the building certifiers page and the guide who signs off a new pool. PoolPreCert is not affiliated with QBCC, and a listing does not mean QBCC or PoolPreCert endorses a certifier.

Common questions

What does it cost to be listed?

There is no charge to register or to be listed. We will tell you well before anything about that changes.

How do you check my licence?

A person at PoolPreCert opens QBCC's own public search by hand, looks up the licence number you entered and ticks that they checked it. Nothing is copied or automated, and nothing is shown until that is done.

What shows on my listing?

Your business name, the licence number as you entered it with the date we checked it on QBCC's public search, where you work, and only the phone number, website or email address you choose to show. There are no street addresses, prices, ratings or reviews.

Will you email me?

Only about your registration: one email when you register, with a private link to your registration page, and one when we have decided. We do not send newsletters or offers, and nobody at PoolPreCert contacts certifiers to ask them to register.

Can I change or remove my listing?

Yes, from the private link in your first email: change what you publish, hide your listing or delete your registration. If you change your business name or licence number, a person checks it again and the listing stops showing until they have.

Do you rank, rate or recommend certifiers?

No. Listings are in alphabetical order, with no reviews, ratings, prices or paid places, and a listing is not an endorsement by PoolPreCert.

Ask to be listed

There is no charge. A person checks your licence number on QBCC's public search, and you choose what shows.
