How this list works
- Every detail comes from the shop's own website, read by a person, with the page and the date checked shown on the shop's page. It is labelled as not yet confirmed until the shop claims its listing.
- Shops are listed in alphabetical order by name, then town. The order is not a ranking, nothing is paid for, and a listing is not a recommendation.
- There are no star ratings, reviews, shop photos or logos here: only the facts a shop publishes about itself.
- A pool shop is not a pool safety inspector. To have a pool barrier inspected, find a pool safety inspector.
Is your shop missing, or is something wrong?
Tell us. A person reads every report, and nothing changes on the website until it has been checked. There is no charge to be listed or to claim your listing.
Common questions
Where does this list come from?
From each shop's own website. A person at PoolPreCert read the shop's page, wrote down its address, phone number, opening hours and what it sells, and recorded the page and the date. Details are labelled as not yet confirmed until the shop claims its listing. We do not use Google ratings, reviews or photos.
Does PoolPreCert recommend a pool shop?
No. Shops are listed in alphabetical order by name, then town. Nothing is paid for, there are no ratings or reviews, and a listing is not a recommendation.
Is every pool shop listed?
No. This list is built by hand and is certainly not complete, especially in smaller towns. If a shop is missing or something is wrong, use the link on this page to tell us. A person reads every report.
Does it cost a shop anything to be listed or to claim its listing?
There is no charge to be listed or to claim a listing. Claiming lets the shop update its opening hours, what it sells, its description, phone number and website, and removes the label that says the details have not been confirmed.
Can a pool shop tell me whether my pool barrier meets the standard?
No. A pool shop sells and services pool equipment. Only a licensed pool safety inspector can decide whether a pool barrier meets the standard. Use Find a pool safety inspector to look for one near you.
