Find a pool shop

For: Everyone · Last updated 31 October 2026

The Pool shops page lists Queensland pool shops with their address, what they sell and their opening hours, as each shop publishes them on its own website. There is no charge to use it and you do not need an account.

Who it is for: Anyone who wants to buy pool chemicals, parts or equipment, or get water tested, close to home.

How to do it

  1. Open Pool shops from the Find a pro menu, or from the footer.
  2. Type a town, a four-digit postcode or a shop name and press Search. Or press Use my location: your phone or computer asks for permission, and the nearest shops show on the same page. Your location is used once to work out the distances and is not stored.
  3. Or choose a council area from the list to see every shop we have there.
  4. Open a shop's page to see its address, what it sells, its opening hours and the day we checked them.
  5. Press Show phone number to see its phone number, or open the shop's own website from the link on its page.
  6. Ring the shop before you travel. Hours and stock change.

Where the details come from

A person at PoolPreCert read each shop's own website and wrote down its address, phone number, hours and what it sells, with the page and the date. Until the shop claims its listing, its page says the details are from the shop's own website and not yet confirmed by the shop.

We do not use Google ratings, reviews or photos, and there are no star ratings, prices or paid places. Shops are in alphabetical order, and a listing is not a recommendation.

Not every shop is listed

The list is built by hand and is certainly not complete, especially in smaller towns. If a shop is missing or something is wrong, use My shop is missing or Report a mistake on the Pool shops page.

A pool shop is not a pool safety inspector

A pool shop sells and services pool equipment. Only a licensed pool safety inspector can decide whether a pool barrier meets the standard. Use Find a pool safety inspector to look for one.

What it does not do

  • It does not say a shop is recommended, rated or ranked.
  • It does not show a shop's prices, stock, reviews or photos.
  • It does not tell you whether your pool barrier meets the standard. A licensed pool safety inspector decides that.

Common questions

Why does a shop's page say the details are not yet confirmed?

Because they came from the shop's own website and the shop has not claimed its listing. When the shop claims it and a person at PoolPreCert accepts the claim, the label goes.

Why can't I see a phone number?

Phone numbers sit behind Show phone number so that scripts cannot copy them all. Press the button and the number appears. A few shops do not publish one.
