Is your pool shop listed?
For: Everyone · Last updated 31 October 2026
PoolPreCert's Pool shops page lists Queensland pool shops from the details each shop publishes on its own website. If you run or work for a shop, you can check your listing, claim it and keep it up to date. There is no charge.
Who it is for: Pool shop owners and managers. Pool safety inspectors, pool fence contractors and pool builders use their own listings instead.
How to do it
- Open Pool shops and search your town, postcode or shop name.
- Open your shop's page and check the address, hours and what it sells. If it is wrong, press Report a mistake or ask us to remove it, say what is wrong and send it. A person reads it and nothing changes until it has been checked.
- Not there? Press My shop is missing, enter the shop's name and town, and tell us where its website is. A person checks it before anything is added.
- To keep the details up to date yourself, press Your shop? Claim this listing, enter your name, your email address and tick the box to say you act for the shop.
- Check your email. We send one message with a private link to your claim page. Keep it: the link is the only way in, so do not forward it.
- A person at PoolPreCert checks that you act for the shop, then emails you. Until then nothing on the listing changes.
- Once your claim is accepted, open your private link to change the opening hours, what the shop sells, a short description, your phone number, website and Facebook page.
What changes when you claim
The label that says the details are from the shop's website and not yet confirmed is replaced by one that says the shop has claimed its listing. Your phone number is still shown only when a visitor presses Show phone number, and your email address is never shown.
What you cannot change
The shop's name, address, council area and the date we checked are ours to change. Report a mistake if one is wrong.
We email you about your claim only: one when you send it and one when we have decided. We do not send newsletters or offers, and nobody at PoolPreCert contacts shops to ask them to claim a listing.
What it does not do
- It does not say your shop is recommended, rated or ranked.
- It does not show reviews, prices, logos or photos.
- It does not change the listing until a person has checked your claim.
Common questions
Does it cost anything?
There is no charge to be listed or to claim a listing.
I lost my email with the private link.
Use Report a mistake on your shop's page, or the contact form, and tell us the shop's name. We cannot send the link again from the website.
Can I ask for my shop to be removed?
Yes. Use Report a mistake or ask us to remove it on the shop's page. A person reads it and takes the listing down.
