Job status, waiting on, and site notes
For: Pool safety inspectors, Pool fence contractors, Pool builders · Last updated 16 October 2026
Each job has a status that shows as a colour in the schedule, an optional waiting-on tag, and site notes tied to the property.
Who it is for: Business accounts.
How to do it
- Open a job. Statuses run from to schedule, booked and customer told, to waiting and done. The colour key under the schedule explains the colours.
- If the job is held up, choose what it is waiting on: the customer, parts, quote approval, access, payment or on hold. Choose Not waiting on anything to clear it.
- Press Add a site note (gate code, dog on site). It shows in Before you arrive on every later job at that property, and as one line in the schedule list.
- Use Call, Text and Directions on the job. Text opens your own messaging app.
What it does not do
- Changing the status does not notify the customer. Customers are told by the confirmation and reminder emails.
PoolPreCert helps you do and record your work. It does not decide whether a pool meets the Queensland standard. Only a licensed pool safety inspector does that.
