Team schedule, clashes and best order for the day
For: Pool safety inspectors, Pool fence contractors, Pool builders, Property managers and agencies · Last updated 31 October 2026
With more than one person on the team the schedule can be viewed per person. Clashes are flagged, and a day can be put in a sensible driving order.
Who it is for: Business accounts with two or more people. A one-person business sees no change.
How to do it
- On a job choose Who is it with? or choose Nobody in particular.
- Use the Whose schedule chips (Everyone, Mine, or a person's name) to switch views. Owners and admins start on Everyone and team members start on Mine.
- On the board each person's jobs sit under a chip with their initials and colour, with their own total underneath. Jobs with nobody in particular (or with someone who has left the team) sit under Any. Tap a chip to open that person's day: their jobs in order with the drive between them, an earlier and a later button on each job, and Add a job, Open this day, Best order for this day, Give the day to, Move the day and Start the day at. A one-person business opens the same sheet by tapping the From line under the date.
- Give the day to hands every booked job of that day to another person. Move the day moves them to another date, each keeping its time. Start the day at moves them together so the first one starts at the time you choose. A job that is done stays where it is in all three, and the message says so, for example Moved 3 of 4 jobs; 1 was already done and stayed. Each one has Undo for 8 seconds. If the new times overlap other jobs you are told first and can choose Do it anyway or Cancel.
- Drag a job onto another person's jobs to give it to them (it keeps its time and day, or moves to the day you drop it on). The overlap check runs against the new person before anything is saved.
- A clash warning appears when the same person has overlapping jobs once the travel time is allowed. When you move a job, by dragging or with Move to another day, we check first and show the overlap before anything is saved. Choose Move to the next available time, Give to an available colleague and move, Move anyway, or Cancel.
- Open the day view and choose Best order for the day. Press Use this order for the day to apply it. When the new order is shorter, the page says Saves about a number of km.
- Each stop and the whole route open Google Maps directions in your phone's maps app.
How best order works
The first job stays first. The rest are put in the shortest order we can find by straight-line distance between suburb centres, with your travel time between jobs. It is never longer than the order you have now. Saves about a number of km only shows when the distances say so, and it is a straight-line estimate, not road distance. We do not work out how much time it saves. Jobs with no suburb we can place go last, and done jobs are left alone. It changes nothing until you press the button.
What it does not do
- Clashes warn, they never block you from booking.
- Pins are placed by suburb, not street.
PoolPreCert helps you do and record your work. It does not decide whether a pool meets the Queensland standard. Only a licensed pool safety inspector does that.
