Photo mode: take photos fast, tag them later
For: Pool safety inspectors · Last updated 16 October 2026
Photo mode is a camera-first view of an open inspection. It is quick for a walk-round, then you sort the photos to checklist items.
Who it is for: Inspectors.
How to do it
- Open an inspection and press Photo mode.
- Take a photo, pick the checklist item or leave it, and move on. Press Next to jump to the next item with no photo.
- Tag or retag photos later, or delete one you do not want.
- With no signal the photos wait on the phone and upload in order when you are back online.
What it does not do
- Opening the Photo mode page itself needs a connection. Once it is open it works with no signal.
- Photos taken offline cannot show an AI check until they upload.
PoolPreCert helps you do and record your work. It does not decide whether a pool meets the Queensland standard. Only a licensed pool safety inspector does that.
