List your pool shop in Queensland
How pool shops appear in the PoolPreCert directory, what a listing shows, how to claim yours, correct a mistake or ask for a shop to be removed.
PoolPreCert's pool shop directory lists Queensland pool shops using the details each shop publishes on its own website, with the date a person read them. Being listed has no charge, and the shop can claim its listing to update its hours, what it sells, its description, phone number and website. A person checks every claim, and nothing on a listing changes until it has been checked.Right now the directory lists 165 shops in 29 council areas, most recently checked on 31 October 2026. The list is not complete.
There is no charge to be listed or to claim a listing.

What a listing shows
- The shop's name, address, town and council area, and its website and Facebook page if it has them.
- What it sells or does, from a fixed list (for example pool chemicals, water testing, pumps and filters, parts and repairs, delivery), and the brands it says it stocks.
- Its opening hours as its own website shows them, and a short description.
- A phone number behind a Show phone number button, so scripts cannot copy them all. Your email address is never shown.
- The page we read and the day we read it. Until the shop claims the listing, it says: From the shop's own website, not yet confirmed by the shop. After a claim it says: The shop has claimed this listing and keeps these details up to date.
Shops are listed in alphabetical order by name, then town. The order is not a ranking, nothing is paid for, and a listing is not a recommendation. There are no star ratings, reviews, shop photos or logos here: only the facts a shop publishes about itself. For how every directory on the site is made, see how our directory works.
How to claim your listing
- Open the Pool shops page and search your town, postcode or shop name.
- Open your shop's page and press Your shop? Claim this listing. Enter your name and email address and tick the box to say you act for the shop.
- We email you once with a private link to your claim page. Keep it, because that link is the only way in.
- A person at PoolPreCert checks that you act for the shop and emails you. Until then nothing on the listing changes.
- Once the claim is accepted, open your private link to change the opening hours, what the shop sells, a short description, your phone number, website and Facebook page.
You cannot change the shop's name, address, council area or the date we checked: those are ours to change, so use Report a mistake if one is wrong. We email you about your claim only. We do not send newsletters or offers, and nobody at PoolPreCert contacts shops to ask them to claim a listing.
If your shop is missing, wrong or should not be there
On the Pool shops page, My shop is missing asks us to add a shop, and Report a mistake (also on every shop's own page) lets you tell us what is wrong or ask for the listing to be removed. A person reads every report, and nothing changes until it has been checked. You can start from the missing shop form or the mistake form.
What a listing does not mean
A listing says what a shop's website said on a date. PoolPreCert does not approve, rate or recommend a shop, and there are no paid places. A pool shop is not a pool safety inspector. Only a licensed pool safety inspector can decide whether a pool barrier meets the standard. Customers who ask a shop about their pool barrier are pointed to a licensed pool safety inspector, and QBCC says only a licensed inspector issues a certificate (QBCC, Inspect and certify a pool (opens in a new tab)).
How this page was made: the PoolPreCert team read each page listed under Sources on 5 November 2026 and wrote this in plain words. The dates beside each source are the dates those pages show. PoolPreCert is not part of QBCC or the Queensland Government, and only a licensed pool safety inspector decides whether a pool meets the standard.
Is your shop listed?
Search for it on the Pool shops page. If it is there, you can claim it. If it is not, tell us.

Common questions
Does it cost anything to be listed or to claim a listing?
There is no charge to be listed or to claim a listing. Claiming lets the shop update its opening hours, what it sells, its description, phone number and website.
Where do the details come from?
From each shop's own website. A person at PoolPreCert read the shop's page, wrote down its address, phone number, hours and what it sells, and recorded the page and the date. The listing says the details are not yet confirmed until the shop claims it.
How are shops ordered?
In alphabetical order by name, then town. The order is not a ranking, nothing is paid for, and a listing is not a recommendation. There are no ratings, reviews, shop photos or logos.
How do I correct a mistake, add a missing shop or have a listing removed?
Use My shop is missing or Report a mistake on the Pool shops page, or Report a mistake on the shop's own page. A person reads every report, and nothing changes on the website until it has been checked.
Does a listing mean PoolPreCert approves the shop?
No. A listing says what a shop's website said on a date. PoolPreCert does not approve, rate or certify a shop, and a pool shop is not a pool safety inspector. Only a licensed pool safety inspector can decide whether a pool barrier meets the standard.
