Homeowners waiting for your business
For: Pool safety inspectors, Pool fence contractors, Pool builders · Last updated 22 October 2026
Homeowners can ask any listed business to contact them, even one that has not joined. Those requests wait for up to 60 days. You see them as a count until you have claimed your listing and your trial or plan includes requests.
Who it is for: Inspectors, pool fence contractors and pool builders, claimed or not.
How to do it
- Before you have claimed your listing, the claim page for your listing shows how many homeowners have asked for you. It shows that number and nothing else.
- Claim your listing. A person checks your licence on QBCC's public search before it goes live, usually within 2 business days.
- Open Requests. While your trial or plan includes requests, the waiting requests move into your inbox the first time you open it, as normal requests with the homeowner's name, contact details, suburb and note.
- Contact the homeowner directly and update the status as you would for any request. Each homeowner is emailed to say you have joined and can see their request.
- If your trial or plan does not include requests, Requests shows how many homeowners are waiting near the councils you cover, with no names or contact details. Choose a plan under Billing to see them.
What you never see before that
Names, phone numbers, emails, notes and suburbs of the homeowners stay with the homeowner until your listing is claimed and your plan or trial includes requests. A homeowner can also withdraw a waiting request at any time, and it is deleted after 60 days.
What it does not do
- It does not show you who asked until you have claimed your listing and your plan or trial includes requests.
- It does not charge a fee per request. Plans are a flat monthly price.
- It does not promise that homeowners will keep asking, or that a homeowner will book.
PoolPreCert helps you do and record your work. It does not decide whether a pool meets the Queensland standard. Only a licensed pool safety inspector does that.
