Privacy and your data: download or delete

Settings has a Privacy page where you can download a copy of your data and ask to delete your account.

Who it is for: Everyone with an account.

How to do it

1. Open Settings, then Privacy.
2. Press the download button under Download your data for a JSON copy of the personal information PoolPreCert holds about you and your account.
3. To close your account use Delete your account. If you have completed professional inspection records, they are deleted with the account: download them from Records first, and tick the box confirming you have downloaded the records you need. The button stays off until you tick it.
4. The Request history on the same page shows requests you have made.

What it does not do

• This page does not replace the privacy policy. Read the Privacy Policy on the website for the full details.
• Completed professional inspection records are protected from deletion inside your account for five years. If you close your account they are deleted with it, so download your record packs first.

PoolPreCert helps you do and record your work. It does not decide whether a pool meets the Queensland standard. Only a licensed pool safety inspector does that.
