Insights: pool certificates in your area

For: Pool safety inspectors, Pool fence contractors, Pool builders · Last updated 16 October 2026

Insights uses QBCC's public pool safety register data to show a council summary, a suburb table, busiest months and month-by-month certificates, plus PoolPreCert activity per suburb. Every figure shows its source and an as-at date.

Who it is for: Business accounts. Full Insights is on the Business plan and the trial. Starter shows a preview.

How to do it

  1. Open Insights and choose a date range: 7, 30 or 90 days, this year, or your own dates. Turn on compare to see the previous period.
  2. Read the council summary and the suburb table. Open a row for more.
  3. Look at the list of your own recorded certificates expiring in the next 30, 60 and 90 days, each with a link.
  4. Open Analytics for your own work in PoolPreCert, such as inspections done and AI photo checks used.

What it does not do

  • The QBCC data can be out of date, so recent months may be missing. It is not a live feed.
  • Small numbers of PoolPreCert activity are hidden to protect privacy.

PoolPreCert helps you do and record your work. It does not decide whether a pool meets the Queensland standard. Only a licensed pool safety inspector does that.
