Cookies and analytics

What we use analytics for

We count visits and see which pages people use, so we can improve the site. We do not use analytics for advertising, and we do not use Google signals or ad personalisation.

The notice

The first time you visit the public website, a notice asks whether to accept analytics. The two buttons carry equal weight: "Accept analytics" and "No thanks". The site works the same either way. The notice does not appear inside the signed-in app, the Admin area or the sign-in pages.

  • If you accept: Google Analytics saves analytics cookies on your device and counts the pages you view.
  • If you say no: it saves no analytics cookies. Google still receives basic page-view details without cookies, such as the page address and title, the type of device and an approximate location worked out from your internet address.

Your choice is remembered on your device for 12 months, then we ask again.

Change your choice

Choose "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any public page. Choosing "No thanks" there withdraws your consent and removes the analytics cookies from your device.

Questions

If you have a question or want us to remove data, contact support@poolprecert.com.

PoolPreCert helps you do and record your work. It does not decide whether a pool meets the Queensland standard. Only a licensed pool safety inspector does that.
