Preferred inspectors and requesting inspections
For: Property managers and agencies · Last updated 16 October 2026
The Inspectors page keeps your list of preferred inspectors and the requests you have sent. A property can have a usual inspector.
Who it is for: Agencies and property managers.
How to do it
- Open a property and use the Find a licensed inspector panel, or the directory, and save one as a preferred inspector.
- Set a usual inspector on the property so it is offered first.
- On Certificates or Portfolio, press Request inspection on a pool that is expiring within 60 days.
- Open Inspectors to see requests sent, their status and reviews.
- If an inspector is not on PoolPreCert you can save their contact details, and Invite to PoolPreCert sends one polite email asking them to claim their listing.
What it does not do
- A request does not book a time. The inspector contacts you.
PoolPreCert helps you do and record your work. It does not decide whether a pool meets the Queensland standard. Only a licensed pool safety inspector does that.
