Where to buy pool gate latches, hinges, glass fittings and CPR signs

Where Queensland pool owners can look for gate latches, hinges, glass fittings and CPR signs: nine sellers' own pages, read 30 Oct 2026.

Gate latches, hinges, glass fittings and CPR signs are the parts most often replaced after a self-check marks something as needing attention. Below are nine sellers, each taken from its own website on 30 October 2026. This is a list of places to look, not a recommendation. Check any part against QBCC's advice before you buy, and a licensed pool safety inspector decides whether the barrier meets the standard.

Before you buy

  • Read what QBCC says the gate and latch must do: gate and latch rules. For example, QBCC says a gate must close and latch by itself from any open position.
  • For a CPR sign, check the size and wording against the sign rules. Neither QBCC nor the Queensland Government says where to buy one.
  • Ask the seller whether the exact product is made for pool gates. A product page that sells a latch does not tell you it suits your gate.
  • The Queensland Government says small damage, such as to palings, hinges or latches, can be repaired to the same standard as the existing barrier, and replacement sections must meet the current standard. See repairing or replacing a pool fence.

Check for recalls

Building and Energy (Western Australia) published a recall notice for faulty gate latch assemblies used in glass pool fencing and gates, supplied by Aristo Glass Products Pty Ltd. We read it on 30 October 2026: it was first published on 25 November 2024 and last updated on 1 May 2025, and it says the latches were available between 1 August 2021 and 3 March 2022 through a number of glass fencing retailers and installers. The page does not describe the fault. Read the notice (opens in a new tab), and search Product Safety Australia's recalls (opens in a new tab) for any hardware you already have. We could not open the Product Safety Australia pages on 30 October 2026, so we have not repeated any recall from them.

Nine places to look

These are shops and manufacturers, not licensed businesses, and we have not checked them beyond reading their own sites. Nobody pays to be listed and we earn nothing if you buy. Stock, ranges and delivery terms change, so confirm with the seller. Prices are not shown. Each row says what the page said on 30 October 2026.

Hardware sellers also say things about their own products. We have not repeated those claims: whether a part suits your pool is for you to check against QBCC's pages and for a licensed inspector to decide.

Not sure what needs replacing?

Run through the barrier checks on your phone, then buy only what the self-check marked as needing attention.

Common questions

Where can I buy a pool gate latch in Queensland?

This page lists nine sellers whose own websites list latches, hinges, glass fittings or CPR signs, with what each page said on 30 October 2026. It is a list of places to look, not a recommendation. Check any part against QBCC's gate and latch advice before you buy.

Are the products on this list approved for pool fences?

We have not checked that and make no claim about any product. Only a licensed pool safety inspector decides whether a barrier meets the standard. Check the product against QBCC's advice and ask the seller whether it is made for pool gates.

Has any pool gate latch been recalled?

Building and Energy in Western Australia published a recall notice for gate latch assemblies used in glass pool fencing, supplied by Aristo Glass Products, available between 1 August 2021 and 3 March 2022.
